Serving in the Tri-Cities area of South Central  Washington our activities include:.

  • We meet at 7:00 PM on the second Tuesday of each month at the US Coast Guard Station - ANT Kennewick on Clover Island, Kennewick WA. We invite anyone interested to attend our meeting to join us.

  • On-the-water activities primarily on the Columbia and Snake Rivers

    • We conduct Safety Patrols

    • Inspect Private Aids to Navigation and Bridges

    • Check  for needed  updates to Navigation Charts.

    • Maintain Safety Zones for various events on the river such as 4th of July fireworks, Hydroplane Races, Cross River Swim and Christmas Lighted Boat Parade.

  • Community activities.

    • Teach Boating and Water Safety Classes for students (K - 12)

    • Teach  adults Boating and Water Safety Classes that meet the Washington/Oregon State  requirement for Boater Education. Also some Insurance Companies allow up to a 10% reduction in  Boat Insurance rate for course completion.

    • Provide speakers for Boating and Water Safety presentations to local groups.

    • Conduct  free Vessel Safety Checks on request that will check that your boat is properly equipped to safely be on the water
